Jetify Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to any merchant using the Jetify Shopify App – it is not a general Privacy Policy for Chasseurs Courrier, or general Chasseurs Courrier clients.

Jetify is a Shopify application developed by Chasseurs Courrier (“We”) that allows Shopify merchants (“Users”, “You, “Sender”) to get quotes and place delivery requests using their external TwinJet account provided by a 3rd party Delivery Provider. Jetify itself does not provide a delivery service. Merchants must bring a pre-existing account with a Delivery Provider that uses TwinJet. That relationship will be governed by the Privacy Policy of that  Delivery Provider and is beyond the scope of this document.

By using the Jetify Shopify App, you agree to this privacy policy.

If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, you must immediately cease using the Website or our Services. The term “Personal Information” in this policy, is used to describe any information related to individuals or businesses. The term doesn’t include the name, business address, telephone number of an employee of an organization.

Security of Personal Information

We are committed to use the best procedures, tools and techniques set by industry standards in order to guarantee the security of your Personal Information.

At the same time, since there is no method that guarantees 100% security in case of transmission of information over the internet, you are advised to keep passwords and API keys safe and make sure to prevent any unauthorized access to your TwinJet account and Personal Information. In case you use a third-party device to access your account, you shall log out once your session is finished.

We endeavor to protect your Personal Information and your account privacy, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security.

Purpose of Collection

In order to get quotes for shipping, and/or to actually place delivery requests with your Delivery provider, Jetify must collect and share some of your Personal Information as well as that of the recipient.

What Personal Information of the senders do we collect and when?

Senders are Users, individuals authorized by a User to access such User’s account, and in general anybody who uses Jetify to ship items from within Shopify. In order to facilitate this process, we collect Personal Information from senders as follows:

  1. first and last name;
  2. company name;
  3. contact number;
  4. email address;
  5. physical address for pickup

We collect the above Personal Information in association with every Shopify purchase you ship or request a quote for with Jetify.

What Personal Information about the recipient do we collect and when?

Jetify further collects Personal Information regarding the recipients of Shipments as follows:

  1. first and last name;
  2. company name;
  3. contact number;
  4. email address; and
  5. physical address.

Sharing and Storage of Personal Information

Personal Information collected as above is only shared with your Delivery Provider with whom you have connected your Shopify store via Jetify. Jetify does not permanently store any Personal Information. It is still stored for 60 days in the form of logs after which time it is destroyed.
